This summer we have been working down at the local park trying to get it up to the standards of the local riders. With financial help from the city of Port Coquitlam and some local businesses, we are succeeding.
Check out the pics and video of the overhaul,

The last couple of months we have been working away at it creating a park that can be ridden and enjoyed by anyone on a bike. Our first project was the new practice jumps. 3 wooden lips in a row all made for doing big tricks. The newest project is the new line on the far left side of the park, don't worry the new line will NOT be table top jumps, but instead a 8-12 set of gaps (depending on how much room and how long it take to finish the set).
We are currently working on the new line and would love to see the local community get more involved in the projects ahead. We have plenty of tools for anyone who comes to help out!
Video of the Park at its current state:
So come on out and see the jumps!

cool
ok someone really needs to step up and make a place like this in massachusetts or new hampshire. there are like no places besides highland and thats like 2 hours away from where i live
i have been but every where i go build they just get torn down. and i also dont have the tools big enough to make jumps that big.. like if i had a backhoe then it would be a lot easier. believe me its not like im lazy, its just that everywhere i go they get torn down. there needs to be an organization that would help. i've been thinking of going to my town hall but its very likely that they would decline it
never know if you dont try bro. find a spot that is good for everyone involved, yourself and the council, and fight for it. shit doesnt get done if somebody doesnt make it happen. you could be the one to make it happen man.
colin you obvs dont know what you're doing. you need to rally all the bikers in your area, get a petition started, ask the city where these jumps could be built, say you could get people to build. if you think someone needs to start it, and no one is, do it yourself.

meh, Rhythm section looks nice and flowy, but the wood jumps just ain't flowin with me. Either their not getting enough speep that or their just go to far forward and not enough height, because that's whats getting to me. They getting air for bmx backflips, but if you can't do those on a Mtb. is it really worth it? (only considering DJ Freeriders)
I dont know if you noticed that kid pulling double pendulum and tuck to x up? because im pretty sure that setup looks dope. How can you talk shit about thier jumps if you dont even ride jumps?
I was there on Sunday and there was a hole in the middle of the second wooden ramp. Time to replace a section of wood.
The kid with the Glasses in my opinion looked pretty amazeing for his age just judging hes around 14-16. I wish i had stuff like this Around were i live it would be sick.

not tryin to be negitive but this place looks good in the pics, but it actually is horable. the dirt they used it the worst dirt ever and has a shit load of rocks sticking out. and the line with the wood jumps needs some work. after the first jump you have to pedal ur ass off just to land on the top of the 2nd landing.
I went there the day this article came out and it was terrible, and no tools to be found. At least leave us a shovel and a bucket guys
colin, these guys have been djin before you so im sure they got it covered. learn how to ride them and get some bigger bars.
dope, i was at these before it was rebuilt. i swear jay hoots was on cocain when he made them. jump ungroomed, made of clay/gravol bullshit and some of the sketchyst people hang out there. jay if you are reading this... never build another park again.... never.
